Well-being & Consent Policy
This policy reflects how I work with clients and the care, consent and personal choice I want to be present in every session.
My sessions are designed as complementary support for self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, relaxation, reflection and personal growth. Depending on what you book and what feels appropriate on the day, our time together may include conversation, intuitive guidance, meditation, visualisation, energy healing, breath awareness and gentle body-based or somatic practices.
My work does not replace medical, psychological, psychiatric or other qualified professional care. I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment or advise you to change medication or other professional support. If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please seek guidance from an appropriately qualified practitioner.
Before we begin
Please let me know about anything that may affect how you participate in a session or what feels safe and comfortable for you.
This may include a relevant injury, pregnancy, recent procedure, health condition, medication, significant change in your wellbeing or anything else you feel I should be aware of.
You only need to share information that is relevant to our work together. If you are uncertain whether a session is suitable for you, it may be helpful to speak with your treating health professional first.
How we work together
Our sessions are collaborative. I may offer an observation, question or practice, but you are never required to continue with something that does not feel right for you.
At any point you can ask a question, pause, slow down, change direction, decline a practice or end the session.
Consent is something we check and respect throughout the session, not something assumed because you made a booking. If physical touch is ever suggested during an in-person healing session, I will ask first. You can say no or change your mind at any time.
Energy and body-based practices
Some sessions may include gentle attention to breath, sensations, emotions, tension or other responses in the body. Energy healing may also form part of the session.
People experience these practices in different ways. You may notice physical sensations, emotion, imagery, stillness, relaxation or very little at all. There is no response you are expected to have and nothing you need to make happen.
We work with what is present and at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Intuitive guidance and your own authority
Tarot and intuitive guidance are offered as perspectives to explore, not as absolute answers.
I do not believe your future is fixed, and I will not ask you to hand your decision-making over to me, the cards or intuitive information. You are encouraged to notice what resonates, question what does not and make your own choices.
Your role in the session
Your feedback matters. Please tell me if you feel uncomfortable, overwhelmed, unsure, disconnected from a practice or simply need something to change.
You remain responsible for decisions about your own health, wellbeing and life circumstances, including seeking additional professional support when needed. My role is to support you within the scope of my practice and to respect your boundaries, choices and pace.
After we work together
Sometimes a session continues to settle afterwards. You may notice clarity, tiredness, emotion, reflection, physical sensations or no obvious change at all.
There is no particular outcome you are meant to have. Give yourself space where you can, listen to your body and seek appropriate professional support if anything arises that concerns you.
Because every person and every session is different, specific outcomes cannot be promised or guaranteed.
By booking a session
By booking and participating, you acknowledge that you understand the nature and scope of the services I offer, that participation in any practice is voluntary, that you can pause or stop at any time, and that this work is complementary to rather than a replacement for appropriate professional care.
You also agree to let me know about any relevant concerns, boundaries or changes that may affect your comfort or participation.
